If you choose the deposit option, the remaining balance will be due 4 weeks prior to the course.
Our Waxing Course is designed for those looking to learn how to safely and successfully carry out a variety of waxing treatments, and offer these services to clients from home and/or mobile.
You will be taught to carry out a range of the most popular waxing treatments, as well as learning the theoretical knowledge and safety procedures involved in practicing these treatments to an industry-standard.
Waxing treatments are sought after all year round to achieve smooth, hair-free skin, with clients returning every 4-6 weeks; offering this treatment will give you a continual source of income (earning up to £50 per hour) particularly during the summer months when waxing treatments are the most in-demand.
You will learn to remove hair from the most common and delicate areas, including upper lip, chin, legs, basic bikini line and underarms, using a variety of methods. Wax depilation provides a quick and efficient way of clearing small and large areas of unwanted hair, whilst the use of hot/warm wax, the traditional procedure of hair removal, is similarly as efficient and relatively pain-free for your clients in comparison to other methods.
At the end of your course, you will be qualified in providing waxing treatments from home or mobile, once insurance has been obtained.
Entry Requirements - Our waxing course is suitable for complete beginners and do not require any prior learning to be able to train with us; many of our students are not yet beauty trained and are looking to start up a business in the industry.
We welcome students of all abilities, whether you are looking to learn a new skill from scratch or currently working as a therapist and looking to refresh your knowledge of particular treatments.
This course is structured over a day from 10am until 4pm. Home study is provided 14 days prior to your course attendance.
You will learn the essential theory of the treatment first, and spend the majority of the session acquiring and practising practical treatment skills, with a short lunch break.
Course timings may very depending on the experience of the students attending, classes may potentially finish earlier than 4pm.
Please note you will be required to give and receive treatments as part of the course and therefore will need to ensure you allow hair (re)growth in the areas to be covered on the training day. This must be a minimum of 0.5cm to ensure all students have the best possible opportunity to practice their skills.
Students work upon each other so no models are required for the training day.
